Found this really good fun to read - cosy crime with a twist of added ghosts.

this book, it’s good, but not exceptional.

This novel offers a light mystery that incorporates séances and a medium, featuring intriguing characters and a solid plot. While it suffers from some pacing issues and predictability, I still found it enjoyable. It’s a decent read, but it didn't quite leave me in awe!

Halfway through this book and I have no emotional attachment to any of these characters to care who killed who.

A wonderful debut. A quirky cosy crime featuring 30-year medium Claire and her childhood friend Sophie. And childhood should be taken literally as unfortunately Sophie died as a teen. Her family haven’t heard from her and assume she’s fine but Claire sadly knows the she was murdered and has been seeing her friend and other spirits ever since. The pair make a great duo with their differences and Sophie’s engaging character brings a lot of humour throughout. A clever, unique and funny spin on the genre.
