Et hurtigt, uforudsigeligt og spændende plot. Gode og elskelige karakterer, med fantastisk dynamik. Hysterisk morsomme one-liners, der fik mig til at skrald grine.

Der var en masse opbygning på verdenen, for da vi allerede kender den, er der stor mulighed for at bygge på de. Jeg kunne rigtig godt lide plottets struktur. Den er skrevet som et mordmysterie, med meget mere! Jeg har aldrig sådan lyst til putte sticky notes i mine bøger, men hver gang der var en rigtig god one liner, skreg lysten inde i mig. Jeg gjorde det desværre ikke.

Comença a haver-hi més amor que odi en la meva relació amb el món dels caçadors d'ombres, per fi! Aquest llibre és quasi perfecte i ha demostrat que ha valgut la pena llegir tots els anteriors per arribar fins aquí (els anteriors em van agradar, sense més ni més).
Aquesta ha sigut una història que m'ha enganxat de veritat, que ha aconseguit que m'importessin els personatges i que em fa tenir ganes de més, de més caçadors d'ombres.
Ha tingut algunes errades que m'han impedit posar-li les cinc estrelles: pel meu gust, hi havia massa trames romàntiques, les tolerava perquè estaven ben portades, però el final... m'ha semblat de novel·la d'institut i això no és el que busco en una obra de fantasia. El Julian m'ha caigut bé, però l'he trobat "massa", així en general, massa tot. Ah, i el meu ship completament destorçat que? Mira, era previsible que el Mark es quedés a l'institut, però que rebutgés tan ràpidament les fades en general i el Kieran (bb) en particular? Nye...
En fi, però de veritat que per la resta tot molt bé. Tinc moltes ganes ja de llegir el següent.

This is one of the best first books of a series I’ve read. If you’ve not read any of Cassandra Clare’s shadowhunter books you may have a hard time understanding this book. I love how Cassie made the action scenes so detailed and precise, she has the perfect balance of forbidden love, mystery, and magic (or lack there of). I was truly enthralled in this book, I stay up late last night to finish this book. Just let it be known I had 400 pages left and did not intend to finish it in one night but I lost all track of time. I didn’t even realize I was reading until I had finished the book. I got to lost in the Los Angela’s Institute I forgot about the world around me. This first book has set high expectations for the following two and I have no doubt Cassie will meet and surpass these expectations. This was truly an amazing book.
