Why did I wait so long to listen to this book!
I knew it was going to be MM and I love MM, I just kind of forgot about it and I guess it was the right time to listen.
Wyatt coming back into town to heal was the best thing that could have happened to Rodie.
Rodie knows who he is and what he wants but he doesn’t want to put out there all public like because he knows not everyone will be ok with it. And why should they have a say in who he sees.
Wyatt has been out for a while and he knows what that can be like fighting to be seen for something other than his sexuality. But he also can’t and won’t be someone’s secret.
Great story I loved it and the narration, I am glad we got some new voices and ones that fit the characters.

This was another fun Getaway book. I enjoyed Rodie and Wyatt together. I especially enjoyed Wyatt's coming to terms with his past, his brother, and his friends.

M/M Small-town

A must read I loved it!! Wyatt is an ex-agent recovering from injuries. Rodie is the small-town sheriff and when these two come together its explosive. The characters in this book/series are awesome. I loved the book!!

I love Rodie and Wyatt's story! These two are such an interesting pair and I love the way Wyatt makes Rodie really think about himself and life. I really liked all the city dynamics going on and all that storyline. I read this super quick and just devoured these two.

This book wraps up the fantastic Getaway series by Jay Crownover. We finally get a story for Wyatt and Rodie. They are both characters that we have met in previous books. Rodie is the sheriff and Wyatt is a former special agent and Webb’s brother. Wyatt is recovering from a bad injury and dealing with the fact that he will need a career change. Rodie is the strong silent type who is a great sheriff but tired of hiding part of who he is. They both have demons from their past to conquer. It’s a great love story and they come together to conquer all the obstacles. It was nice to see members of the Warner family again. It’s a great way to wrap up the Getaway series.
