By the time I realized that I wasn't enjoying this book I felt like I had invested enough time that I would just finish it. Most of the characters were caricatures and I didn't really like any of them. The plot was also pretty thin and by the time I got to the "big reveal" that Frannie and Mimi didn't have any sort of real feud I had forgotten that was even the impetus behind the standoff between the two restaurants. Wouldn't recommend or read anything else by this author.

This read like a fun Hallmark movie for a while, and then got a little exhausting.

This is a 4 only because the beginning took me a while to get into and I was being a little skeptical about it. But the last half to third was awesome! It was uplifting and fun and filled with drama. Another winner from the Reese Witherspoon book club!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Possibly boosted by being narrated by two of my favorite audiobook narrators but still very cute story. The only problem is now I’m desperate for some of that fried chicken
