This type of book has been a favorite of mine this year (books that explore both a genre and the role of women in those stories or as writers of those stories) If you are interested in gothic, horror, terror, Speculative Fiction, or sci-fi this is a great resource for those looking for the history of these genres, book recs, and brief introductions to the women who wrote in these genres. I just wish it went even more in-depth.
Moderate: Misogyny and Violence
