If I didnt fall into a reading slump, this would have been done in a few hours max. Loved everything about it.

Gosh. I didn't expect that much death. Made for a decent read though.

I'm sad that's it over. I really liked Konstantin Black in this book, you found out his reasons for the things he did in the past and tries to redeemed himself by helping Bryn fight against Queen Mina. it was all very enjoyable to read.

I’m PISSED I wanted Bryn to end up with Konstantin so bad... I knew he loved her and then he confesses his love to her and DIES???? I hate everything goodbye-

Good, but little bit predictable conclusion to the Kanin Chronicles. This series was much better than its predecessor. Also I liked Bryn and Ridley more than Wendy and Loki.
I recommend this series even if you haven't read Trylle Trilogy!

Trylle Trilogy is one of my all-time favorites and I was so excited to back into the world and experience a new adventure. I did enjoy this book but not as much as Trylle. It just lacked something. Don’t ask me what cause I don’t know but it needed a little something more to really make it memorable for me. After reading this trilogy I don’t remember too much. Just a few minor details here and there.

I missed the chemistry between Ridley and Bryn. I actually found mire between Bryn and Konstantin.

That was an insane rollercoaster of emotions like the books before. I really love this this world and all of the the unique elements it brings. I also can't help but feel nostalgic every time the Trylle are mentioned or Queen Wendy appears.

+sidenote
Bryn is a great character and so mature which makes this book feel not very YA (Bryn is 19 so does that still count as YA?). There are also more mature themes of marriage, pregnancy and Career progression that you wouldn't expect in a YA. This may be in part because of the way this fictional society works but it still makes me think this book is not YA.
