the ending was so embarrassing imo, and i h8 how authors always make a big deal of live streams and the view count these random people have. like i get that charlie was supposed to be a celebrity, but i don’t imagine a cooking stream getting 30,000 views. especially since i’ve seen a list celebrities (which is definitely not what charlie is) get only hundreds, sometimes one or two thousand. it just seems embarrassing to me.
i hated the ending, it just felt too picture perfect and not what i expected. i didn’t like it, and would have preferred anything else. also i was humiliated when charlie casually mentioned how miguel was offered a job at the hospital bc he knew his stuff. like? that’s not how real world works. “oh hey random man who came in with a woman who was unconscious, i see u know how to treat head injuries. do u want to work here?” like stfu stop being silly it’s embarrassing me

The Holiday Swap hits just the right spot this Christmas season -- swapping twin sisters, mistaken identities, not one but two meet-cutes, a dash of love at first sight, quite a few awkward encounters, several successful women characters, strong family roots, and lots of baking. The only thing missing is the recipes for all of the delicious-sounding desserts these characters made! If you're looking for a light holiday rom-com similar to movies like While You Were Sleeping and The Holiday, grab a copy of Maggie Knox's The Holiday Swap and a cozy blanket then settle in for an adorable Christmas read.

I’m partial to twins swapping places so naturally this would rank a little higher for me!! Cheesy & sweet hallmark-esque holiday book with a happy ending nothing more nothing less!

This is the perfect holiday read! It’s very cute, light hearted, but not cheesy. It has a hallmark feel in book form. Twin sister Cass and Charlie switch places and experience the others life. Cass lives in small town Starlight Peak, while Charlie calls LA home. They seem to grow as individuals from the experiences they encounter from the switch. One of the best Christmas books I’ve read!
