So cute! I really enjoy the Carolina Comets. I loved Blind Pass, but this one is definitely up there! Hollis was adorable and while sometimes pregnancy tropes can be a little annoying, this one wasn't at all! I thought it was so well done! I love this little gang of characters, they are all very likable!

Hollis is recently divorced and definitely not looking for anything series. Lowell is a one time type of man. When Hollis and Lowell meeting at Harper and Collin’s wedding it wasn’t exactly a great start, however, thanks to their environment they decide to just have one time with each other and then move on with their lives. Well…….sometimes things don’t always work out the way you plan.
I loved Hollis. I love that she is moving on in her life after her divorce and when a wrench is thrown in her life plans, she freaks out but then enjoys the blessing she has been given. I loved her sassy attitude that only seemed to come out even more while pregnant. I loved Lowell, too. Minus his initial response to Hollis telling him she was pregnant and I wanted to have a repeat of their first meeting. However, he quickly redeems himself and is super sweet, caring and protective.
I loved seeing Hollis and Lowell go from strangers, to having a kid together, to forming a relationship that is truly magical. Their chemistry is off the charts, the banter between them and just the sweet moments they shared. I loved it all.
If you’re looking for a surprise baby, rom com, sports romance this is one to read.

This is a cute one night stand/surprise pregnancy romance. If you’re looking for a quick, fast paced, and low angst romance you might like this.

lowell's initial reaction was not ideal but he was so constant and helpful to hollis (for the most part) until the third act conflict which was so weird and stupid like mr had a mad mood change bc he was scared like HELLO hollis was divorced and then having a baby with her one night hookup from her sisters wedding
there were conflicts and i think the two were even on being in the wrong but ultimately it was a good story
i loved the epilogue tbh so cute
cant wait to see emilia and smith, even tho i think smith is an older dude, hopefully not too much older

Omg stoppp! This book was so cute. I’m also not usually into the pregnancy trope but this was adorable and I loved every second of it.

This was such a cute and heartwarming story. I'm personally a fan of the pregnancy trope so I really wanted to see how this story would unfold and I was very pleased. I really loved the characters and their dynamics. Lowell and Hollis had such great chemistry and would do anything for their baby. The epilogue was amazing and I can't wait to go back and read about the other couples but I also can't wait about Emilia and Smith. Their story will be phenomenal! This was my first read from the author and i will 100% read more of her works!
