I genuinely don't know why white woman loves 'villain' romance. Like, I could understand it theoritically but the execution of this 'villain' romance is always trash. They said that villain character is hot and stan characters like Darkling or Kylo Ren (both are gross and bland btw), yet they defended the terrible things those characters did and excused it as some kind of 'misunderstanding for the greater good'. Like, I thought you guys like villain characters??? Yet white woman keeps trying to excuse every villainous things those (white) men did.
Also why is it that the 'villain' character that people love are always the blandest character in the series?? A white man only need to dress in all black, have some mommy issues and abused some girls then all white womans go googoogaga over this 'villain'.
Anyway, villain romance is not for me. A lot of things in this book is also pretty dumb.

Ella has fast become one of my fav adult high fantasy author, the world building and the characters that are unique in their story will make this an interesting read.

DNF after the sample
It started out good but when the FMC goes with the MMC it becomes very insta-lovish and the main characters' personalities become stagnant.
