This was a great read. Very informative and inspirational. I cried a lot. A great reminder of our true history in America and how recent slavery really was.

It is hard for most of us to imagine a life over 2 or 3 centuries. We are lucky if we get a few decades.
A refreshing life story of a kind man who continually believed that what he had was enough.
A man who was always satisfied with what live gave him. Not many of us a re capable of that.
Interesting, insightful, inspiring.

This is such an inspiring story of a man who has everything going against him in life and chose to still be grateful. We could all learn a lot from Mr. Dawson’s story.
