I enjoyed this book. It gave the warm fuzzy christmas feelings I was after. I wasn't expecting it be YA- the main characters are 16. However I loved the writing style and the characters were loveable.

Finley Brown told all of her boarding school classmates that her hometown, Christmas, Oklahoma was the picturesque Christmas town, straight out of a Hallmark movie. So when she returns home for winter break to find one of her classmates in town, she is caught in her lie and has to make sure he and his aunt have the perfect Christmas.

What a perfect book to kick off my holiday reading. This YA holiday story was filled with sweet moments, sarcasm, and plenty of things that had me laughing out loud, with the perfect amount of teenage drama. This was a wholesome read that left me feeling so cozy and got me in the holiday spirit.

Reader’s Notes:

– there are about 56 curse words

– there is a lesbian couple by the end of the book (not Finley- our main character)

Review:

This was an interesting Christmas read! I enjoyed many of the activities Finley and Arthur endured together (mainly since not all activities ended up the way they wanted
