Read the first two books of the series and enjoyed it, but was left feeling the subtle nihilism was too much and didn't feel like I needed to read more.

Tyckte verkligen om första 2 böckerna tredje var okej men därefter gick det utför
Det gick från att vara roligt förvirrande till bara förvirrande.

This series blew my mind! It helped me pass my mechanical day-to-day life.

A very silly book. It really did make me laugh quite a bit, but i think the plot of this book in its isolation felt scattered and all over the place. I'm sure that the subsequent books will undoubtedly make the plot more complete, but for now, I am only reviewing this book.

5 stars for the first book. It’s the very best thing. The second and third are great, the fourth features a new character who is cute and a love story that doesn’t interest me a bunch, and then the fifth one is a HUUUGE bummer. Douglas Adams was having a bad time when he wrote Mostly Harmless, and it shows. But The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and Life The Universe and Everything are classics and I highly recommend them. Also everything I know about the game of cricket I learned from these books.

Masterful comedy sci-fi, originally BBC Radio 4 productions in the 70s, later adapted to novel format. Incredibly imaginative and funny. My favourite character is Zaphod Beeblebrox.
