It definitely shows that this is early days. It was still funny, but got one-note pretty quickly. I didn't find Rincewind to be a particularly compelling character and he got annoying. A bit like a concept for a three-minute sketch that suddenly had to hold up for an entire movie. Twoflower was very enjoyable though. There's a lot of creativity here and I liked seeing so many parts of Discworld, but my god, get these boys out of Situations!!!

I did like it, and I plan to read more of the series. In part felt like it was laying a lot of ground so the reader can understand the world/tone the series takes place in.
