Not going to lie boys, this was a bit of a disaster. It gave the feeling that the author went into this with a vague idea of what she wanted but nothing actually planned out. Half the time it felt like a bad Christian novel. This was supposed to be a romance, yes? First of all, it was all very insta-lovy, I can think of zero reasons as to why these characters would even like one another.

I'll give you an exact rundown of what happened in every chapter. Her POV: oh no, I love him but I'm pregnant and he's an ex-con!! His POV: oh no, I love her but I'm an ex-con and she's pregnant!!...that was it. Her attitude about people who had been to prison was appalling, and it never even got sorted. In one chapter she just randomly goes "yep, I don't even care he's an ex-con anymore" even though she'd still bring it up all the time.

Another issue I had was that he was always on the pipeline of "we cant be together so we'll stay friends", but were they? They weren't even friends most of the time. Most chapters would start by saying that it had been a few weeks and they hadn't talked to one another for whatever demented reason.

In conclusion, this was bullshit. It's not like I hated it or anything, it just didn't have any redeeming features. There are actually so many more things I could complain about but for the sake of my own wellbeing, I am deciding not to. Just know that this was a bad book.

Her Baby, His Love by Lynne Marshall
Taylor, a nurse looked at the picture of him in the paper and it was his marriage to another...
Not the first time it happened to her but still devastating.
She ends up in Charity Montana to reinvent herself-pregnant and she has a place to stay in.
The house she rented is in bad shape but the elderly woman is welcoming-Dixie.
Native American Joe her property manager and owner of the nursery and Joe helps ex cons find work under supervision.
Love hearing of the nurser and the plants and their attributes. Joe is attracted to her upon sight.
Alternating chapters of Joe and then Taylor and their interests as they keep running into one another. Like how she investigates her new surroundings, all stores have woman's first names
Love hearing the meditation garden-I can just imagine it and what all the symbols stand for.
She opens up to him and he to her as to their past. Her ex is not yet ready to be done with her although he's married.
Misunderstandings and you don't know who she's going to end up with, including her own baby...Love Joe's solution although he's staying away from her.
Love knitting, don't see that very often any more and religious interjections. Toe ring-just don't get these, like tattoos. Human chain gang, novel idea!
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end. Their Christmas Miracle is excerpted and an author bio.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

4 Stars!!
I really liked this book. It took a little bit for me to get into it, but eventually I did and I really liked it. The storyline is one of my favorites and I think it was done very well in this book. A couple things that I didn't like were the wishy-washy ways of the MC's, how judgmental the h was , and how the H remained friends with Arlene for a considerable amount of the book. I did get over these things though, and am glad I did. Thank you Tule Publishing for allowing me to read this book!!
