A ghost story that queers the genre as it takes readers through one of the scariest parts of a relationship: meeting the parents for the first time.

Spooky & sexy, this short ghost story really packed a punch. The impeccable building of tension, which worked so well in such a short space of time, was really testament to Upadhyaya's skill and talent, and worked really well when set against the dark and twisted backdrop of our narrator's past trauma. Really enjoyable and pretty spooky. The only thing that didn't quite work for me was the ending, which left me feeling more confused than scared.
