As much as it sucks not getting a definitive ending to the story, I'm really glad battle chasers exists. Madureira's art alone is worth the nine issues that did get made. The bright side is that there's a battle chasers game coming out that Madureira himself is working on, so fingers crossed that maybe we'll find out what happened to everyone. Regardless, this is a fun, beautiful, action-filled fantasy story that doesn't disappoint. The one disappointing element is the over exaggerated anatomy choices for the female characters. This was during that 90's era of comics where it wasn't uncommon, but is still unfortunate.
