Unique and Fun

The characters all have something to lose and the story telling makes you want all of them to win, even the bad guys

Starting my revision for Saga #55, I am so excited for this comic's return! I can't believe it's been over six years since I first hopped on this train. I still remember this comic well and in surprising detail, which is unusual; that's testament to its greatness.

This first volume has all the makings of a grand epic, in terms of the scale of both art and story. There's weird characters, zany dialogue, gorgeous settings, a narrative that's the stuff of myths and a classic plot. It's fun, it's edgy, it's scary... It's everything a comic should do when you ask it to entertain you.
