The only thing holding me back from 5 starts is THE ENDING!! What an AWESOME book until the last two pages. Geez!

Sophie never disappoints. It took me a while to find an English copy of this book, but it was well worth the wait. The story is funny (uncontrollable giggles!), touching and endearing (in a good way! not like it's trying too hard!). And the ending was so awesome that I hardly knew which way to sit. MORE awesome forbidden love, please!!

Humorous and unique moments wrapped in a quirky romance plot. While some parts are slightly dated, the author did well in choosing points that are ingrained in nostalgia to ease the age. Really fun!

I lol-ed a few times (like in the other books I've read by this author - she might be a new fav), but sort of long and didn't keep my attention as well as the others I've read. Fun read though!

Fun read

I enjoyed this book. I like the carefree attitude that Kinsella writes with, they are easy to get into, fun to read.

Talk about suave, smooth and deeply impossible romantic ending!
Sophie, really took her writing skills to a notch in this book. Although I'd have to say It didn't quite reach my expectation. But that aside, this book is just cute and well, overtly fictional. Ha Ha but nonetheless, I had some giggly moments while reading it and by that I'd say this chicklit proved its purpose.

A funny, cute, at times embarassing book to read. Sophie Kinsella is a comfort author - somehow her books are perfect for bringing a smile to my face. Not to mention the number of laughing-out-loud moments I had. A perfect romcom

I apologize profusely to anyone I have ever side-eyed for being squeamish while reading horror, because I imagine it felt a lot like that.
