It took me forever to get into this one. Mainly because it was a new plot and I didn’t believe it could out do AGGGTM. I was so wrong!! It took me almost a month to get through the first 100 pages but once I did I was hooked. Finished the last 300 pages in a few hours! I stayed up to finish it. Cannot believe I’m saying this but definitely better than the first. AND THATS SAYING SOMETHING!!!!

I was extremely hyped to read this since the first book was SO good, and it did not disappoint at all! It is true that maybe it was a bit less thrilling, but still good.
I've loved the possibility that the book gives to keep discovering more things about Andie Bell's case and at the same time still be focused on Jamie's disappearance.
Also there's a huge need to mention that Pip's like the best character ever, I was rooting so hard for her every single time she decided to do something (you probably know what I'm talking about), and Cara and Ravi need more recognition, they are also great and I really hope after this Ravi gets a bit of closure???
Anyways, I'll definitely be reading the 3rd book in the saga pretty soon, that's for sure

If you were a fan of the first one, this does not disappoint! When I first started the audio of the first one, it took some getting used to the different voices and the "recordings" of interviews, and that was used in this one as well. There was no adjustment needed this time and the audio just flowed from first to last and this time I couldn't look away as I tried to figure out what had happened to Jamie and who was trying to stop her. There weren't quite the same number of constant threats to stop her investigation the way it was in the first, but it was still very intense as clues led her from one person to another. This book is obviously best read without any spoilers, so I'll stop here, but I can definitely recommend this as a worthy sequel to the first!
