I can’t believe that there’s only one issue left to this series. I’ve been really enjoying reading it…so while I am admittedly very curious to see how it’s going to end, I also don’t really want to see it end. I’m sure we’ll all feel that way about one series or another, so this is nothing new.
I love the underlying themes and concerns that this series has been addressing. And I feel like this issue did a particularly good job at bringing that all to the forefront. Things that had been hinted at previously were flat out stated here – leaving no room for denial.
I think in a way I had seen the conclusion to this issue coming for a while now. It didn’t make it any less shocking, which is a good thing. And it didn’t make it any easier to bear, which is also a good thing, in a way.
The artwork for this series has been absolutely beautiful. For that reason alone I think I’d want to see the series continue. But alas, all good things must come to an end, yes?
