Lone and Lifeless

I have been waiting for this book since last year!

Ant takes on so much for so many people and it makes me sad. He wants to be everyone's caretaker at the expense of himself. I'm glad he finally took what he wanted and found the happiness he always deserved.

Jazz my poor baby, always so sad. What a wonderful person and he just breaks vour heart. He doesn't deserve half the shit that's been through. Trying to survive in a world you feel wouldn't even miss you if you were gone has to hurt and going at it alone is the bravest!
Ugh I loved every bit of this book and these characters!

The first part of the book was realistic, it’s a struggle to juggle: work, school, interactions with family, interactions with friends and people pleasing + any any sort of hobby. It’s realistic, which is why I understand why people wouldn’t really enjoy it. I surprising enjoyed the realistic part of it, it feels very real compared to all the books that kinda gloss over it since we read to escape lol. I loved seeing Ant work through the all of that, and how much is friends tried to tell him to catch a break but he wouldn’t bc he feels like he didn’t have enough time. I loved seeing Jazz settle into his life and make him take breaks and just coexist with how hardworking Ant is. Jazz doesn’t push him to go out. Instead he draws while Ant is doing homework, they do things together. I thought it was really cute.

Ant needed love and a break, and Jazz helped him get that. The same thing with Jazz, Ant showed him how much he loves and cares for him. Both of them have problems and they try to work through them together.

I liked the threesome, would’ve actually like to have seen more of Val. One thing I did dislike was Jazz giving their friends hints about the threesome, it’s basically outing someone. While I understand why he did, he should understand why he shouldn’t say it.

Wow this story is a wonderful read that is emotional and steamy. This is a journey of Jazz and Ant. This starts as a threesome and this is when Ant feels that he isn’t bi. This is a crazy ride of assuming Jazz has it all then finding out he doesn’t as Ant is a protector and when he see Jazz during a hard time he starts by trying to care of Jazz. The chemistry between these two of off the charts.
