Non so se mi intriga di più il principe oppure lo studio psicologico dei personaggi fuso a riferimenti storici importanti

Season 1: (Chapter 1-65)

Oh man this one is getting me right in the feels!

Storyline: 'The Iron Widow, the Spider Widow, male hunter, the Witch of Neuwanstein castle, the embarrassment of noble ladies'……. These were all the words used to describe the Marchioness, Suri Van Neuwanstein.

Despite receiving such criticism from the world, at the young of barely 16-Suri had to raise her ‘children’ alone, who were unrelated to her by blood and were old enough to be called her siblings.

And while she endured harassment and resentment from society and her the household- she survived to see her 'eldest son' Jeremy get married and become head of the family- finally, on the day of his wedding, she felt that all her hard work had tied all the loose ends together. But she had been terribly mistaken. After hearing the message requesting her to not attend the wedding, she got caught up in an accident and died while leaving the castle.

But when she opened her eyes, she woke up on the day of her husband’s funeral, seven years ago.
I refuse to suffer any more. I won’t live as I had in the past a second time!

I’m sobbing! This story really followed through well, and my heart hurts so much, but all of it was worth the pain! ~ This story follows the average 'the villainess died a terrible death but awakes in the past' troupe that so many of us are used to at this point. However, it follows through well, and teaches the lesson that no matter your ultimate outcome, it is always better to treat others with love and civility, "It is better to love, than to never have loved at all," as the famous quote says. The one of the larger reasons why I couldn't give this beautiful piece five stars was due to its very abrupt ending. I felt like the story could have been played out a little bit longer. In addition, the epilogues left the readers with a lot of questions and no answers for them. Like what happened to all of the children ultimately? Did her son still follow through with his marriage? All of these questions were ultimately left unanswered.

I read up to chapter 59 and I am blown away by the art, plot, and characters. I'm super excited to see how this all ends.
