I saw the anime years ago and found the manga in my local library. Wow, the anime clearly followed the manga almost panel by panel. The story is great, the characters are unforgettable, and the art is detailed. Love it.

Kinda funny, definitely a guy's manga.

I'd need to be very, very, very careful deciding whether or not to put this on my shelf, especially if I end up in a middle school (high school is more "anything goes"). There isn't really nudity, but there's definitely some perversions going on. Somehow, there's more trouble with graphic depictions than written descriptions...strange. Anyway, it's still a great series, so :P to all the whiners.

4/5 on here, 8/10 for myself

Huh. I was so confident that I'd like it that I bought the whole set at Book Off. But it left me feeling gross and kind of depressed. Maybe it's too over-the-top for my taste. I did like the TV series.

Ugh. The style is tough to look at for too long and the storyline is gross and misogynistic. It leaves you feeling gypped and uncomfortable.

This is such a great series. I watched the anime a decade or so ago and finally decided to check out the manga. Enjoying it so far.

This was the first manga I ever read so I'm still getting used to how it reads and what some of the techniques are supposed to mean. I didn't love this but I liked it well enough to try a few more volumes. The only real irksome thing is how small some of the print gets. I can barely make it out.
