i really should have hated this on paper this would be a DNF. the heroine comes across as a mary sue from a wattpad novel. the plot is so ridiculous and the prose wasn’t something id usually find readable but they made it work. i did really end up liking the characterisation of at least a couple of the guys after the 50% mark.

i think it’s because of how ridiculous it was i just got sucked in it’s like bollywood/telenovela level OTT but i couldn’t put it down. i will say the bullying is really cruel at some points definitely it was emotionally abusive asf which i wasn’t prepared for because i’ve read and enjoyed darker work but if you can deal with all of that then i’d definitely recommend if you want something to get lost in.

Anyways that felt good to get out of my chest I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK.  the amount of times I was about to throw my phone or took tiktok breaks bcs I was seething 😤 and that means authors you did a good job l. There were scenes where I couldn’t sit and continue reading I was this 🤏🏼 Close to throwing my phone across the room but I didn’t thank god. And sometimes I would stop for a few minutes just to rant to my friend and cuss them out even tho she doesn’t read. And I might’ve traumatised her sooo someone’s gotta pay her therapy bills. I’m gonna say it again I love this book you guys did a great job and I can’t wait to read the next book
