I actually loved this one more than the first! It has a good mix of total porn and plot. And honestly, it really works. I don't know HOW Katee Robert did it, but so much happens in 150 pages but it doesn't feel rushed at all.

I actually really love Mina and Malachi, she's grown on me and I just can't help but love a broody man. Each character is great and I'm fascinated by this world the author created.

• this had more by way of plot but also got very repetitive with the whole sex then almost get caught then run to a new safe house formula
• still more smut than plot which is fine
• these books could just be one standalone book realistically

After finishing the first book in one sitting, I had to get the sequel immediately and it was just as addicting as the first one! I especially enjoyed the new characters we got a glimpse of in book one. Their personalities really grow and you get to spend more time with them and I loved it! However, that cliffhanger??? RUDE AND I NEED BOOK THREE IMMEDIATELY LSAJDLAKJD
