From the very first page, this book tugged at my heart. The banter between all the characters was delightful. The characters were flawed and complex. I loved the quick switches from Helen and Grant's POV so we could see into both their minds during a situation. I also thought the mental health and anxiety were well portrayed.

A well-written and solidly plotted and paced book, with resonant family dynamics and an appealing central romantic relationship, supported by interesting portrayal of work dynamics in a Hollywood TV production. I found the third act a little weak in terms of character motivation, but it's still the best romance I've read this year.
