I enjoyed this fantasy romance. However, I did find it heavy on the romance in the beginning and forgot it was about demons and angels some of the time. But the last 20% was super fast paced and I’m eager to see what happens in book 2.

I picked up this book because the description made me think it wasn’t going to be a heartbreaking story but one hour later I’m balling my eyes out and I’ve only read 80 pages. Author, why you do this to me?

Where to start and what do I even say?
I found this author via booktok, and based off of the aesthetics and a few bits and pieces I saw, I knew this book had to be read. I bought the paperback and really took my time reading through this.
The two MC's are fiery, passionate, and have this undeniable chemistry that kept me rooting for them the entire time.
The Shadow and The Draw was exceptionally well written and in my opinion had a superb balance of action packed scenes, entrancing fantasy plot, and a heaping amount of spice. Highly anticipating what is to come of this series.
My words will never do this book justice, so just stop reading this and go give this book a chance.

I loved this book so much!
This was a fast paced dark fantasy romance that I didn't want to put down while I was reading it. I managed to read this wonderful book in a single sitting.
The fantasy was wonderfully done. I loved this story so much and I loved our shadow and our draw. This was a perfect blend of a unique fantasy romance story with a bunch of familiar things that made this worlds easy to dive head first into. I can't wait for book two in this series.

Lots of smut with a decent story that had potential to be presented better than it was, but fell short because of the focus on the smut it felt like. A bit cheesy in some parts, but it had a great ending!
