A few very striking portraits, but overall this probably suffered from being read after the breathtaking [b:Richard Avedon Portraits|200990|Richard Avedon Portraits|Richard Avedon|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1172633745s/200990.jpg|194467]. Unless one has a particular interest in the famous folks being photographed, there's not much on offer here.
Having said that, I absolutely loved some of the pictures, a particular favourite being one of Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and Gregory Corso in the 1950s.
