I am not usually a fan of non-fiction, but this was written so well, directly from the mouths of these dear ladies. I learned a lot about history and it was a book of hope. Loved it.

As eye-opening (for me, at least) as it was charming.

If you haven't read this great story of American history through the eyes of the Delany sisters, go do so!

The Delany sisters are full of wisdom and encouragement. I am grateful they agreed to share their story for this book.

This was a great book and loved learning about these sisters' lives. I'm amazed at how their mental capacity had not diminished at all when they were in their early 100s to be able to co-write this book. It's amazing to read their perspective on things that have happened in America and to them within a century. Both sisters have very different but great personalities so it's fun to see the varied perspectives they would have on the same event.

LOVED this book! It is so interesting to follow a set of sisters who spent over 100 years together-what they saw and survived! Incredible!
