This was a cute book with a nice lead character named Nathalie Ames. The village itself reminded me of the village Agatha Christie's Marple lived in. Also the characters in the village are similar to of Marple's friends and criminals. The story itself was not the most exciting and thrilling one, but it kept you reading. Nathalie's aunt dies in an accident and she inherits a cafe/pension in a small village. Will she accept the inheritance or not is the first question that kept me reading. Later on, she meets an elderly lady who claims her replica paintings have been occasionally replaced. Why would someone steal a replica and replace it with another copy - one would ask, so Nathalie investigates it as well.
It is a nice book, not the best, but I will keep on reading to satisfy my urge to reread Marple series again.
