DNF 36%, not because it wasn’t interesting, but my attention span with nonfiction is short

Informative but never boring, covers incredibly frustrating history in a measured way without plunging you into despair. Would reccomend for anyone who wants to learn abt the red scare and/or gay history. We’ve always been here and we’re not going anywhere.

Eye-opening exploration of a topic hidden in plain sight; a great read during pride month, surprising review of government employment, and engaging look at the cultural history of queer DC spaces.
