This book wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. I enjoyed the method in which is was told, as it is literally the defendant’s closing speech on a court case in which he’s been accused of murder. At first I was very skeptical about what he was saying but then towards the end my feelings had changed. It seemed very legitimate and I liked the characters perspective as it wasn’t one I had read from before.

I didn’t really feel much for this book though. I was quite bored from the start and only slightly more interested by the end. This wasn’t really what I thought it was going to be going into it. There’s a lot of lying low and being stuck for solutions and not much actually going on. There was practically no emotion in the story, everything was very matter of fact, this happened then that happened and I didn’t exactly have the best time.

Overall this book was just okay. Interesting story, quite believable but just not for me. 2.5 stars.
