I like this book and how the extended epilogue ended, and I can't wait to read the next couple in the series and continue with the series as a whole.

Just when you think their story is finished, Lisa Renee Jones brings you right back in. I love the suspense and intrigue. There is definitely more steam and chemistry and tons of swoony moments. I loved this story. I loved that there was still so much more to the characters' story. Such a great series and I can't wait to read more from Lisa.

Cole and Lori's story is just amazing. The honeymoon was fabulous, returning to life after, not so much!!! What a fabulous 'ending' to their story, such high emotions all through this book. I was expecting a cute honeymoon novella with lots of sexy times and fun. What I got was a full length novel that brought in all sorts of great characters from other books to help out. Some great parts that make me think we are getting much more of the Dirty Rich peeps in the near future.

I was expecting a cute honeymoon novella with lots of sexy times and fun. What I got was a full length novel that brought in all sorts of great characters from other books to help out. Some great parts that make me think we are getting much more of the Dirty Rich peeps in the near future.

Audio performance was great. The only issue was that some of the male voices were very similar in pitch and tone and therefore hard to distinguish.

ARTICULATION - clean, clear, precise
BREATHING – controlled, volume was great and consistent. Projection appropriate and mouth noise low.
DELIVERY – very solid performance and in the spirit of the text and author’s intent. Timing and pacing is excellent. Varied and not predictable.
EYE BRAIN MOUTH CONTROL – accurate and effortless
CONSISTENT – high energy, articulation was accurate. Breath and pitch control was also consistent.
ANALYSIS – understands the story arc and characters. This was clear throughout all books in the series.
CHARACTERISATION – brings to life. Both POV characters were not as distinct as they could be. This did make it a challenge when the same characters were together in the same scene. Delivery was consistent in tone, attitude, age, accent. Voices did match characters but variety could have been utilised more.
SEPARATION- no spillover between narrator and character.
STORYLINE
This was a fabulous edition to the series. Loved how it picked up from Dirty Rich: Cinderella Story and continued on to develop the characters further. Cole and Lori are delightful and the inclusion of Reece and Cat was also refreshing. I am always a sucker for a dual POV story and this one did not disappoint. To add to this, new plot ideas have obviously been intertwined within this book, so I say, “Watch this space.” Well done LRJ. Another great book in the series.

Ok I must say my story first, I discovered Dirty Rich Cinderella as being part of Audible Romance Package, I love Cinderella alike stories, so that got me to hear the audiobook, when I was done I discovered this book was just a couple of days away from being released. I messaged Lisa and asked to be signed up on the tour. That got me a copy with a day to read and write the review. I finished it last night and got to write the review today on release day as promised. And let me tell you now how much I am in love with this story, the characters Cole and Lori landed on my favorite couple list this year. I simply couldn't put it down, forget the deadline, I needed to read it all. Seeing that I did it all backwards I am now listening to Reese and Cat story and will keep going, I am in love with the series. This book starts on the honeymoon stage but being an excellent attorney comes with consequences that had me at the brink of my seat reading. Their story will not be simple, it has a plotline that will drag you and won't let you go until the end. I am absolutely giving this a 5 star review!

DIRTY RICH CINDERELLA STORY: EVER AFTER is technically book 5 in the Dirty Rich series though it's the follow up book for Lori and Cole, the main characters of book 2. So the second book should be read before the fifth!
This book is a continuation of Lori and Cole's tale. It begins with them on their honeymoon in Paris where everything is ALMOST perfect except for the fallout from their recently won case. There's a whole lot of obstacles waiting for Cole and Lori to overcome once they get home. Is their new marriage strong enough to weather the storm?
So, I honestly was torn in two different directions with this story. On the one hand, I loved all the suspense in this one. It added another element that just enhanced the romance between Cole and Lori. I also loved the additional new characters that will make for some interesting future storylines. The expanded roles of some of the original secondary characters gave the story another twist that I truly enjoyed, too. But on the other hand, I felt like some parts were a bit redundant and unnecessary. It felt more like filler and didn't really add to the story. That being said, it's still written in LRJ's signature style of smart and sexy.
Overall, I settled on 4 stars because I decided that the new characters plus the added suspense overrode the unneeded details! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

I am in love with this couple, the passion they ignite and the deep connection that they carry throughout the pages of this book. They show us over and over how a true relationship must be built on not only trust, but support of each other.

Cole and Lori are one of my favorite couples by Lisa Renee Jones...I devoured the first book and was thrilled to be able to dive in right away to the second.
I loved so much about this title. The chemistry is between them from the beginning, and it is about a couple who is already together although there's enough to their story for you to be able to pick it up even if you haven't read the first book. That said, you should read the first one, as there is a lot of their history in it and it is an enjoyable read.
As in a lot of the titles by this author, the threat to the relationship is from an external place, and it is one that Cole and Lori sort of need to be together to fully face. I love that, and the idea that while there are challenges as a couple, you really see them as a united front, as a couple committed to being together, and to working it out.
Falling in love is a compelling story...but staying in love is too, and I enjoyed this title. I recommend both!
