Death of 'Stacy' while camping in Swaledale brings DCI Harry Grimm and his team into a new investigation. But who is Stacy.
An entertaining and well-written modern mystery with its cast of varied and likeable characters .
Another good addition to this enjoyable series.

Another great Grimm story
Really enjoyable story as I have come to expect with this series but the mistakes were starting to grate. A proofreader would have picked up on the DS changing to DC throughout the book in particular.

This book was as good as the first two. I am warming to Grimm and glad he is working to control his temper.

I'm a bit worried about Harry... he only mentioned being in the "Para's" about 10 times in this book ;-)

The most chilling yet in this series. And setting things up for more to come - I can't wait!

Another thrilling book in the DCI Harry Grimm series. Murder, action, suspence and intrigue fill the pages along with a good dose of humour, great characters and of course, cheese with cake. An exciting read/listen with an excellent narrator bringing it all to life.

The mysteries are pretty transparent, but you come here for the winning cast of characters, the marvelous use of a real world setting, and the cheese and cake, obviously. Great fun.

This series has been a fast easy read. Not a lot of extra verbiage thrown in to add words. I appreciate stories that don't add a lot of fluff. These books read like masterpiece mysteries. Tell the story in order to be done in an hour/hour and a half. It works for me. The characters are fleshed out nicely without too much drama attached. Simply put, I am entertained.
