I really loved the approach Rooney took in portraying relationships over a long span of time. I went into this book thinking I was going to hate there being no quotation marks but imo it was so well written I didn’t even notice.  Being in my 20s, this book resonated a lot me & my current stage of life.

There were some passages I thought were decent but not enough to make me care about the characters. I knew there was a reason I hadn’t bothered with this book and now I know to trust my gut!!!
