I really wanted to love this but I just didn’t. There was so much unnecessary drama. All of the characters were much less loveable than in the prior books in the series. So much miscommunication and angst! I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the ending - it felt very abrupt.

this book was based on the script for the third movie instead of the other way around. The movie made the characters a lot more immature and act out in ways that made them seem younger. I felt the book being written after the movie had been made changed the characters and therefore the dynamic of the novel compared to the other two novels.
