Quinn’s love and dedication to his mother was heartwarming and Minnie’s relationship with her parents was beautiful in its own way.
This book has a lot of talk about mental health and made me very sad at times, but it was all well written. The seriousness of it kept the book from being too fluffy.
Zero spice and still totally romantic.

I would categorize this as a romance with some emotional depth. It is not cheesy. I find this to be how most of Sophie Cousen's works are. I enjoyed it, but it was not one of my top romances. It was realistic, which I really appreciated.

It worked so great to have the novel going back-and-forth from current (2020) to prior years, where we draw the dots to be all the times Minnie & Quinn met before.. without knowing it was them! My favorite has to be NYE 2003 with Quinn’s POV

Check content warnings. Some heavy topics are addressed, but I feel they are done with care rather than exploitation.
