I don’t like this book as much as the first one because the story was so prolonged in a way which I guess isn’t a bad thing, except for awhile it felt like nothing was ever going happen. This book I found was a lot more predictable than the first.

The second book in the series was just as great as the first book! Couldn't put the book down!

Read this one out loud to the kiddos. I liked it but not as much as the first one.

The kiddie horror really ramps up in this one - West drops some surprisingly existentialist moments into "Spellbound" and goes deeper into the ramifications of making and entering living paintings.
