3.75⭐️ I love Brandon, he deserved the world. This book should’ve stopped by 80% of this whole book tbh because it was dragging the hell on. Girlie should snap out of it already, it was frustrating when its already a good sweet plot

“Fear not, debutantes, there will come a time when happiness will settle in the palm of your hand. All you must do is take hold of it.” —A note for The Marriage Habits of the Native Aristocrat

lovely prose, a hero who is less of an asshole than most histrom heroes, and a heroine who is SO funny.

Love Brandon, so patient, so understanding. Ellie’s ok and I get that she has her anxieties but she made Brandon suffer for how long it took her to finally be brave enough to face her feelings.

This book was longer than necessary though. It could’ve been at least 5 chapters shorter.

I really enjoyed this series and loved this one a lot. We get the lady just waiting for the man to make the move when someone she thought and knows will never go for her, after getting to know her and once he figures out she is not after him this is just a cute chemistry on the side. She has always loved the neighbor next door but he is just using her as a backup. The girls are still working on their book, which is a cute little side story. We get the side characters from the previous books.

Enjoy this series.
