Follows a man as he rides a bicycle along a bright yellow road. He travels quickly through a seaside town, passing businesses and people, crossing bridges. Neat use of color, the bright yellow road and red items stand out against the muted tones. Great for the kinders.

We loved this book, and if your kid loves mazes or maps, or loves to follow the line and trace roads with his finger, then this is a book for you. My little boy asked for this book again and again, he couldn't get enough of chasing the yellow line that makes the road that's at the center of this book. There are not many words, it could almost be called wordless. And yet, the rhythm of those sparse words is kind of intoxicating (and briefly it reminded my of one of our favorite toddler books: [b:Freight Train|734542|Freight Train|Donald Crews|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348955169s/734542.jpg|2324679]) The graphics are absolutely beautiful. Unique illustrations and with a simple story that could be used as an easy reader because the text is so simple. Sort of fun.

The illustrations had a retro feel to the look as well as to the actual feel of this book. The text is somewhat sparse and there are lot of positional words which make this a fun read for working with younger children on the concepts that can be paired with the book.

The perfect picture book for design lovers with young children. I imagine Tad Carpenter would enjoy sharing this book with his young brood (and secretly stealing away to enjoy the imagery on his own time, as well) Great vocabulary for very young readers and parents looking for a night off from tongue twisters. The emphasis is on exciting imagery, with vocabulary taking a back seat. (Pun!)

I did like how the road could be followed continuously throughout the whole book but another one where I was not impressed with the illustrations.
