Okay, this book was great but not really great. Well, I am just unhappy because I thought that it would be more exciting than I expected but it was great. I like the character also Tyson, who is Percy's half-blood brother. Also, this book has adventures too like Thalia's tree is poisoned by Luke but in the end, Percy and his friends save Thalia's tree and they need to take the fleece from the Cyclop island. Percy dreams in Grover that Grover needs help and then they board Princess Andromeda. While they are going to save Grover, they met Luke, Circe, the Island of Cyclop, and oh also monsters. But the book is still enjoyable to read and also funny.

Fun 2nd book in the series. Percy Jackson begins the year at Meriweather Prep, and guess what? ...Gets into some trouble. :-) He befriends Tyson in this book. Tyson, Percy, and Annabeth go off on a trek to the Sea of Monsters to find the fleece to help repair Thalia's tree at Camp Half-Blood. Lots of interesting things going on, including a scandal involving Chiron. This is a quick and good read. Entertaining!

I loved it! I really enjoy the voice of the character, the depth of all the characters (not just Percy), and the clever worldbuilding. I don't know what took me so long to read the second. I won't make that mistake with the third. :) ...So much fun!

When I was young I hated the ending of this so much I skipped the next book and went straight to the fourth. I hated the idea of competition with Percy. Percy was much more mature than me lol. Excellent book but not as good as the first but one of the best.

All of the faults of the first book, with less of the charm.
