I don’t think we needed the whole Leon getting sick bit, it felt forced and like it wasn’t actually plot relevant.
Also thank fuck Danny didn’t end up in some motherhood role, not every woman wants to have children.
At the end of the day, the smut wins Tate points.

It was the epic conclusion we’ve been waiting for. The Guild has been a wild ride with twists, turns, and Tate classic filthy smut.
Overall I really loved this story, but what really killed me was one of the final plot twists towards the end. It was a twist I didn’t see coming and I didn’t want to believe it, but here we are.
It goes to show that every character in this particular series is not 100% good. Every one of them has a dark side, even if I didn’t expect them too.
I loved the growth of the throuple — Danny, Kai, and Leon. Their smut was fantastic, but I enjoyed more of their softer moments together. I would honestly read a whole novella of the three being domestic.
The final chapters came full circle (…pun might be intended 👀). It was a satisfying ending, but I am going to miss these three a lot. I know they’ll make cameos here and there, but i loved getting to know them over the past year.
The Guild and Hades are tied as my favorite series by Tate. But I’m so excited to see what Tate has next in store for the Shadowgrove Universe ♥️

What did I just read? I think I blacked out. I am still recovering from the absolutely wild roller coaster ride Tate took us on this time. You’re worried about book-ending cliffhangers? How about cliffys every d*mn chapter!! Seriously testing my cardiovascular strength, Tate.
I could not be happier with the way the story wrapped. Danny gets her answers (and then some!) about her enemies and her past. The relationship between our three main character grew so much in this book, but they each kept their unique personality quirks throughout. The dialogue and inner thoughts had me in tears of laughter more than once… the snark was way too on point! Not to mention the SPICY STEAMY GOODNESS of our three unhinged anti-heroes getting it on—I didn’t know I needed a scene in a cheesy honeymoon hotel suite until I read it!
I will say I only called the villain early on in the series because the Shadow Grove books have taught me to trust NO ONE EVER. The twist was EXCELLENT and came at a totally unexpected time in the book. Would have been an epic end to a TV episode is all I’m saying…
I was so excited to see there will be another SG novel series, I hope our winsome threesome makes an appearance with our boy Hermes!!
