Anti-Romance is an exploration of what it means to define a relationship that has existed for too long in a liminal space between friends and lovers. Although I really liked the set-up, I wasn't too sure about the execution of
how their feelings were finally revealed.
Hopefully the second (and final) volume will provide better developments between the two leads.

Describing the manner in which this book carved itself a cozy corner in my mind feels impossible. Ryou and Suou's relationship grows organically and shines through the care they both have for one another. Both are complex characters who bring well defined and interesting personalities to create an incredibly complementary duo.

The two men are childhood best friends who became roommates (*gasp' they where roommates) when they left for university. we see how the4y've fallen into a certain routine and have  grown even closer than they were in high school. Understandably both characters are afraid of confront their feelings for the other for fear of ruining the bond they have. As it goes, unforeseen circumstances force the roommates to address the chemistry between them.

I will definitely be reading the next manga in the series. It's a manga I absolutely recommend!
