Good continuing plot. But still has a sprinkling of f-sharps.

Good storyline and world building

PROS: Great story building and action. Interesting magic and characters. Good banter between character s.

CONS: Slowest burn of all time. Another cliffhanger.

This was cool! She was a tad bit less impulsive in this one. Good plot. Not superrr excited about her being separated from the guy going into the third book though :/

Love how fast these books are to read. Also love that is is one big story linking the books together.

Bound by Magic begins with Sunaya having to help out a shifter solve some murders in shiftertown. Things aren't really going according to plan, and she isn't getting all of the training she really needs from the chief mage since he's so busy. So, she does her best to help out this shifter and solve the issue.

This book was okay. I liked it, but I really felt like something was missing, and sort of like the story just sort of dragged on and went back and forth on certain issues. Other than that I do like it, and I look forward to more.

I received an ARC for my honest review. I have come to love this series. When I look for a fiction novel, it's main purpose is to entertain me & take me to another world. This series does just that. I can't wait to read more!

I probably would have given this a 3.5 to 4 star rating, but the ending is a very contrived cliff hanger that would have thoroughly pissed me off had I not had book 3 to move right in to.

If there is another cliff hanger I will be abandoning this series. The best I can offer for a cliff hanger book is no rating at all, otherwise it'll be a single star.

I really hate cliff hangers, particularly in books that are so short.

Short novel, best to read all chronicles together in one go. More enjoyable since almost all end on cliffys.
