this was a super enjoyable book tbh. i expect nothing less of bo burnham, but i didn’t know how his poetry would fair. it was super funny and super super fun to read. of course there was the few but very sweet poems, but mainly humorous. came for bo, stayed for the gigs.

Oh boy, I just really love what Bo Burnham has to offer our humble little world.

My favourite poems from this collection: Big, Imagination, Fireflies, Him, A Wonderful Day to Be Dead, Up Above, Wooden Soldiers, and Her Eyes.

Shel Silverstein for adults! Not quite as sharp as some of Bo's later work, but it's fun and silly and has plenty of the wit you know him for. Lots of fun.

I really enjoyed this book. I really liked this different take on poetry and even the cruder side of it. I would recommend this book to others that enjoy humor and can handle some inappropriate material. The drawings were also great and helped with the humor of the poems.
