I don't like to give anything away in a review. More often than not, I don't say anything except leave stars.
I stayed up late to finish it, and I'm sort of speechless. I loved this book in so many ways, it's hard to know where to start. I loved the characters, the story, the first person pov that went back and forth between the two men, and the past and present.
I'd give it ten stars if I could, so yes, I highly recommend this book.

I couldn't put it down!

The twists and turns kept me on my toes. I love how ones memories were last while the others were present and then they met to bring you up to speed.

Loved it, now on to book 3,

Home Again is almost two stories in one. First there's Noah in the present, waking up in the hospital after an accident, and things clearly aren't the same as what he last remembers. Then there's Clark in the past, first meeting thirteen-year-old Noah and beginning a long fall. As Noah's memories return, it turns out that Clark and Noah have both been hiding things. But honesty comes, and love wins out in spite of mistakes made.

Sweet and satisfying

The way that this story was told - in flashbacks from one point of view and in the present from another - is brilliantly done. I was getting worried about the reveal of the conflict, but it wasn't as bad as I was imagining. Noah and Clark are a supportive and affectionate couple, and were fun to read about. I wish I could have seen even more of 13-year-old Noah - he was AWESOME. There were some laugh-out-loud moments, and lots of sexy times. This will go on my reread someday list.

I actually read this in the summer but had no internet to do a rating and review.

I really liked the idea of this but it never fully took off for me because I couldn't buy into the reason for all the angst.

There was also an over abundance of the words angel and sweetheart which became a tad annoying but, overall, it was a perfect summer read, a light and frothy coffee with just a taste of bitter chicory to stop it making you vomit at the sweetness.

2.5 stars.

I didn't like this one. It was too boring for me.
It took me a minute to get use to the alternating POV since I was listening to it. It was past POV from Clark, present POV from Noah. It was clear there was something between them, I guess Clark was telling us how they came together in the past, and Noah was telling us where they were now in the present.

I don't know if it was the narrator, but it was boring. Also, I got so sick of Noah calling Clark "angel" that I was getting irritated. For such a short audiobook, it was a slow read. I am figuring out that I require a certain amount of drama to give me that angsty feeling. I didn't get that here. It was just a man who got hurt in an accident calling out for his lover, and trying to piece together the last 3 years he can't remember.

After reading Capture & Surrender, this one fell flat for me. I don't think there is anything I enjoyed about this one. I may read book 2 in the future, but this one felt monotoned and overly simplistic.

I should have read the reviews. I should have read the reviews. I should have read the reviews.

I didn’t though, because I was really intrigued by the plot: after a car accident Noah, the partner of Clark, wakes up in a hospital and has forgotten the last three years of his life. I thought this would be somewhat similar to [b:The Vow: The True Events that Inspired the Movie|43483577|The Vow The True Events that Inspired the Movie|Kim Carpenter|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1546819810l/43483577._SY75_.jpg|67627452] just with two gay guys. Boy was I wrong.

Home Again is a piece of garbage. I’m sorry to say this, I know a person wrote that book and is probably proud but that’s part of my problem. At least 3 people must have read this before it got published and none of these three people was like nope, we can’t publish this.?!

Okay let’s get into it; the story is told through two perspectives, Noah in the present and Clark in the past. It started out rather okay, with Noah’s brother in the hospital and Noah not wanting to talk to him, but wanting to see Clarke, whom he thought his brother was keeping away. I was intrigued. In the past it starts with the friendship of Clark and Noah’s brother Ben. That’s how he gets to know Noah, who is 13 at that point, Clark is 17 but he already is already sexually drawn to Noah. Again, who thought that age difference was okay?! At least 3 people must have read this before it got published and none of these three people was like nope, we can’t publish this.?!

Besides, he was mine and he needed me to handle things.

This statement happens the day after they meet each other like what?!?!

Well, I‟ll give you anything you want. Always.

Same day. What 13-year-old says that to a 17-year-old he just met one day before?

Things didn’t get better in the present. Their relationship is a lot, but it is for sure not healthy. The over the top, aggressive possessiveness from Noah over Clark, not healthy. That Clark changes his whole sexual identity because he is afraid Noah would not want him if he doesn’t please him right. Not healthy. Okay yeah not healthy is an understatement here.
Oh, and if I read or hear someone call someone else their “my angel” ever again, I am going to puke.

If you can look past the age difference and the inappropriateness of their relationship the plot of the past is okayish, with Clark losing his mom to cancer and Clark rescuing Noah from destroying himself with drugs because of his homophobic parents. But the plot in the present timeline completely falls apart. First the author tries to build suspense for way to long only to dump everything in the garbage with ridiculous reveals. And then after the first fourth of the book it kinda just turns into a weird sex story with sex scene after sex scene. Don’t get me wrong I can live with sex scenes if they fit organically in the story, but this turned into a full on quite unpleasant sex novella (which it is not advertised as).

I think this is my first 1 star review I’ve ever given, because usually I find at least something in a book that’s enjoyable, but this book was just disgusting.

MC1 : Noah
MC2: Clark

I went into this blind, and I liked. I bought this back in 2015 when I was new to MM and bought every single MM book that I saw.

The story telling was so different and surprisingly good. It alternates between the present told in Noah’s POV, and the past, told in Clark’s first-person POV.

Noah and Clark met when Noah was 13yrs and Clark was 17 yrs, Clark was Noah’s brother Ben best friend. When Clark saw how Noah was rebelling against his family he became concerned and wanted to help Noah from there they develop a wonderful friendship, and Clark’s character was amazing, he was so caring, loving and hot! I loved his Mom too what an amazing woman.

In the present time we get to see Noah was involved in an accident and woke up from a coma with selective amnesia not remembering the last 3 years of his life. Then we get to find the reason why, and it is at this point that the book went from 5 stars to 3. Noah did hurt Clark and he never got the chance to apologize because Clark left and the reason why he hurt Clark so bad was lame that made me want to through my E-reader at someone. When they reunited I expected Noah to grovel like really grovel but instead Clark was the one who apologized for leaving……Agrhhhh!

It made Noah a Douche and Clark a doormat.

After I got past my rage, the story picked up again. The sex was hot! just the kind that I was in the mood for after all it is Cardeno. And the Mc's had so much chemistry in the bedroom and they were kinky.

Somewhere in all of that, Clark must have removed his mouth from my ass, because I suddenly felt his thick, long cock enter me.
“Yes, Clark! Yes! Deep. Fuck me so deep.”
“Feel me in you, Noah? So deep inside you? Gonna cum so deep you’ll be able to taste me.”
I whimpered and kissed him. My entire body was trembling. He intermingled every few words with a punishing thrust.
“Ready for me to breed you, sweetheart?”
I nodded. My entire body shook with need.
“I want to hear you say it, Noah. I want to hear you beg.”
I threw my head back and tears of joy streamed down my face.
“Please fuck me, Clark. Please make me cum. I need you to make me cum.”

The secondary characters were a nice addition Noah’s friends Tim , Terry and Frank and Clark’s frindes Zach and Aaron. I adored Zach , I just saw that his book is next, I can’t wait to read it.

Noah was so possessive of Clark, to a point that even his friends were afraid to hug Clark, and the scene at the club had me laughing so hard. Good thing Clark was not all that bothered because that was borderline Psycho.

I relaxed my fists and let blood flow to my white knuckles while I put my arm around my angel and pulled him tightly against me. I needed to get a grip. Clark smiled at me and rested his head on my shoulder as we walked inside, completely oblivious to his admirers, as usual.
Our friend, Tim, was the first person to see us when we walked in. He rushed up, reached for Clark, then remembered himself and dropped his hands. Good.

Noah’s brother Ben…… Ughhhhh! I wanted to strangle him he was a douche.

description

Just going to leave this here:

You were a good friend to me for a lot of years and I truly do love you.”I growled and dug my fingers into Clark’s thighs. He bent down, kissed my neck, and stroked my belly. The tension started draining from my body, but not before Ben noticed my reaction.
“Jesus, Noah. What in the hell is wrong with you?”
Clark continued petting me while he responded to my brother.
“Nothing is wrong with him. He’s just a bit possessive and he doesn’t like hearing me say that I love anybody other than him.”
My angel looked into my eyes and combed his fingers through my hair.
“Even though he knows it isn’t the same kind of love. He knows it never could be with anybody else because he’s always been everything to me.”

Pfftttt! Psycho! these two were perfect for each other.
