Wow, a heartbreaking account of what women go through in the prison system. One could only guess the terribleness that occurs but what shocked me the most was the overwhelming response of sexual abuse these women go through. The stories of the women were the best part of the book. The statistics were easy to get lost in so it is good that the narratives are most of the book.
