Cannot think of a better ending to this series! I am so sad it is over but god it was an amazing ending! Mateo is the text book of golden retriever mmc! He's loyal, and caring, and so absolutely perfect!! And Vera!!! Oh my heart breaks for her so so so much! I wanted to get into the book and just hug her!!!

Vera Falls for Mateo from the moment she meets him, and is pining while trying to navigate rejoining society. Mateo learns he has a daughter from a fling from his time in Alaska, and turns a blind eye to Vera’s crush. One night is all it takes for Vera to say enough is enough. But her actions lead to humiliation, but Mateo finally opening his eyes.

The cameos of everyone was so cute and perfect! Made me want to go back and read everyone's story again! The ending was what I thought it would be. But how it came to was so cute and adorable and so heart warming.

I flew threw Sable Peak so much faster then I thought, but it was exactly what I needed/wanted.

My problem with this book is I don’t feel like the characters really had any chemistry, Matteo’s love didn’t even feel like insta-love it felt like love bombing. I mean she comes home from work one day and he has moved all of her clothes out of her apartment??? And that’s not a read flag for anyone???
