This one was really hard for me to get into....at first.  The characters were hard to connect with...at first.  But it was fast paced and eventually I was completely sucked in, then devoured the remainder of the book. There were a few twists, albeit the clues seemed obvious enough so nothing was too shocking. There was pretty good character development. And, of the mafia books written by tijan, this was the most graphic, in my opinion.  I'd still recommend this book despite it being a struggle for me at first.  It's worth a re-read even and after that point, my review might increase in stars.
