Okay forgive me for a less in depth review because I read this a while ago and don’t remember it 100%. 

The plot twists in this book are crazy!!
Ash getting his own sister unknowingly pregnant, the scene when Embry rescued Greer from Melwas, the Apple sex scene (chefs KISSSSS), ABILENE DRUGGING AND RAPING EMBRY???? AND THEN GETTING PREGNANT JUST LIKE THAT????
holy shit. The sex scene also just got better and better too, and it was good to be able to see more into Embry’s head in this book. And don’t even get me started on the one scene of Ash and Embry after battle. That was ……. That one was the worst one for me to get through 😭 it was intense. In conclusion,
Abilene, if I ever see you in these streets, we’re FIGHTING. Fuck you bitch. You’re the reason Embry had to break Greer’s precious heart you psychopath.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Sierra just knows how to twist the knife when you least expect it. What an emotional roller coaster! I did not see that plot twist coming. 

As much as I love Embry and his sweet self, I FEEL for Ash too. You get a deeper look into their relationship during the war pre-Greer and ugh you just root for them so hard to figure it out. 

I honestly can’t wait to read the next book from Ash’s POV. I think we’re still very much left in the dark and he’s holding many secrets.
